I agree with this, but I am also not convinced that John Piper’s hyper-calvinism is “gospel” either. Perhaps he is upset because the proponents of the prosperity gospel are not teaching that only those predestined for wealth are to possess it?

I agree with you that the hyper-calvinism is not the answer. In some ways it’s just as damaging with its fatalistic outlook.
